Caution! Pure mint oil is very strong. Use carefully and sparingly in any recipe that calls for Mint Oil

Créme deMenthe Brownies

1st layer: 1/3 cup butter
              1 cup flour
              1 cup sugar
              4 eggs, beaten
              1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup

Beat together and spread in a greased/floured 12x18 jelly roll pan

Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees

2nd layer: 1 ½ cup butter
                6 cups powdered sugar
                3 tablespoons whole milk
                3 oz Créme de Menthe
                1 ½ teaspoons peppermint extract (or 1 ½ drops of pure peppermint oil)

Mix all together by beater - spread on cooled brownies and chill

3rd layer: Melt 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
                  4 Tablespoons vegetable oil

Spread over mint mixture and serve. Keep refrigerated.

 

Choco-Mint Shake

½ cup milk - heat until hot

Pour milk into blender

Add: ¼ cup instant cocoa mix
        ½ cup milk
        ½ teaspoon vanilla
       
1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract (or 1 drop peppermint oil)
        2 cups vanilla ice cream

Blend until thick and smooth - makes 4 servings
