On behalf of the Idaho Mint Growers Association, I invite you to attend the 2023 Annual Idaho Mint Convention on Thursday, December 7, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Meridian, Idaho.

The Convention will provide an opportunity to gather industry colleagues from across the nation to discuss issues such as our current and future water supplies, fertilizer market, Mint Industry Research Council updates, Idaho mint research projects, the annual buyer’s report, water issues, an end-user presentation, and more.

The Idaho Mint Growers Association continues to strongly advocate for our state’s mint industry. Not only is the association visible, recognizable, and respected at our legislature and local levels of government, it continues to be the catalyst that actively and progressively works on industry issues like water rights, right to farm, land use planning, fugitive dust, property tax exemptions, field and open burning, TMDLs and agricultural BMPs, pesticide labeling, appropriations to improve irrigation delivery, and many other important industry issues.

There has never been a more important time for members of the Idaho Mint Industry to become involved in an organization that protects and promotes it. One of the best ways to become involved and help support the Industry is to attend this Annual Convention. Five (5) pesticide recertification credits and eight (8) certified crop advisor credits will likely be approved for the states of Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Utah. Further information on the 2023 Idaho Mint Industry Annual Convention, including registration, sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, and an agenda can be found in this Convention booklet.

Thank you for being a part of Idaho agriculture and for your support of the Idaho Mint Industry. I look forward to seeing you on December 7!

Sincerely,
Joe Weitz, President
Idaho Mint Growers Association
